3 Steps to Teach Your Child How to Arrange His Toys

Portable toy box are known to be useful for storing children’s toys. It is best for keeping the children’s toys all in one place so that they won’t have a hard time looking for it when they want to play with them again. It also makes organization simpler. They can easily put all their toys in the box. They won’t have to try to reach and stack the toys individually on the shelf.

It allows children to easily dump their toys in the box when their done playing. But dumping is not organizing. If your child is used to putting all his toys in the wooden toy box without segregating or arranging them, his toys will not last long. It is not only important that you provide your child with a box where he can place his toys. It is important that you teach him how to arrange and organize them as well. Teaching him the right way to store his toys will train him to take care of his things while he grows up.

Here are some simple steps to effectively teach your child how to arrange his toys.

1. Teach your child to segregate. Teach him to group the board games and his jigsaw puzzles together. Direct them to place it in one side of the box. It would be better if his toy boxes have several compartments so that it won’t be difficult for him to arrange his toys. Ask him to place his stuff animals in a bigger compartment and the other smaller toys in smaller compartment.
2. In order for him to easily find his toys, tell him to arrange it according to sizes. Bigger toys should be placed in at the bottom and smaller toys should be positioned in the upper portion.
3. Tell him not to force all of his toys in the box. It may damage his toys if he tries to fit everything in it. Tell him that it is all right to place some of the stuff toys beside the wooden toy boxes as long as it is arranged.

It is always a challenge to teach children new things especially when they are used to doing something else. Teaching him to arrange his toys is even more challenging. But it’s worth teaching him how things are done. Ask him to do it a day at a time. In order for him to appreciate what you are trying to teach him, tell him why it is important to properly arrange his toys. This will also teach him to take care of his belongings.

Consequently, his things will last longer because he knows how to value of them.

Child Toy Box are certainly useful. They house most your child’s toys. But giving him a beautifully decorated box won’t teach him to organize. It will just give him an idea of stacking his toys into the box.  To properly use the toy box, you have to teach your child how it is done. You will not only teach him how to keep his room tidy but you will also teach him to give importance to his things.
