so you will have a convenient place to keep the toys when not in
use. Even if you have only one or two toys to begin with, go ahead,
get that baby toy chest now, anyway the day will not be far off

buying now are for your first child, you can expect to be buying
many more.
Since your kid now is your first, coming just a year after your
wedding, she will be the number one attraction of your family and
your husband's. You can expect frequent visits from your mother
to see how you are doing with baby, a normal concern of mothers,
especially because you are the only girl in your family and getting
married even ahead of your older brother.
Your mom will be giving you all the helpful tips from her own experiences
as a mother, recalling all the things she did when you were her
little girl in years past. Among the things she will first mention

As a mother for the first time, you may tend to leave the baby's
toys just lying around as you will be busy carrying the little girl
around and playing with her, not caring very much in the arrangement

Things are a lot different now that you are the Mom raising your

toy chest so your household will appear well-arranged and orderly
at all times.
Your own mother will have some degree of tolerance and understanding
if you do not learn immediately the basics of housekeeping, like
the proper arrangement of the baby's toys in the toy
storage chest, knowing you as the spoiled girl in your childhood
years.
It could be different however if it is your mother-in-law visiting
you. She may not be as tolerant and understanding, giving her room
for some critical comments later about your household. If you know
the many stories of usual conflicts with the mothers in law, it
is best to practice early the orderliness of your house. You know
how mothers-in-law are.
While this is still early and while you have only one child now,
get used to using that baby toy chest now. Your problems could triple
with those toys when the other babies come, maybe not very long
from now. Especially because you and your husband are young, you
can have a big family of rowdy kids sooner than you expect.
